Jane Simons

Jane Simons joined Touchdown Ventures in 2018 and is the Head of Operations and leads the firm on key strategic operations.

Prior to joining Touchdown Ventures, Jane had a robust senior management career in higher education with increasing responsibilities for nearly 13 years at the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania ranging from strategic operations roles to different facets of programming, marketing, and communications, executive board management, and alumni relations. She has extensive experience with strategic planning, program management, complex communications, and relationship building. Under Jane’s leadership, new, effective policies and processes were developed and implemented across the School and adopted as best practices across the University. Jane began her career working at a tech start-up as the International Project Manager, focusing on business development, operations, marketing, and communications for an innovative electric propulsion system with diverse applications.
