Gareth James

Gareth James has over 15 years of work experience in various roles within the pharmaceutical industry. Gareth is currently the Head of Proposals at Touchlight since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at PCI for 7 years, where they held the position of Head of Quotes. Before joining PCI, Gareth worked at Penn Pharma, a PCI company, for 5 years. Here, they held multiple roles, including Technical Documentation & Continuous Improvement Principal Team Leader - Analytical Services, Technical Documentation & Continuous Improvement Team Leader - Analytical Services, Continuous Improvement Team Leader - Development Analytical Services, and Team Leader - Development Analytical Services. Gareth also served as a Project Manager - Analytical & Formulation Services during their time at Penn Pharma. Prior to working at Penn Pharma, Gareth worked at Penn Pharmaceutical Services Ltd for 5 years, starting as a Senior Analyst and later moving on to become an Analyst. Gareth began their career as an Assistant Scientist at the Environment Agency. Gareth has extensive experience in managing teams, driving continuous improvement, project management, and client relationship management within the pharmaceutical industry.

Gareth James attended Swansea University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Biochemistry. In September 2021, they obtained several certifications from Smartsheet, including "Core App" and "Smartsheet Product Certified User."
