Peter Archibald

Peter Archibald is an accomplished professional in the field of biopharmaceuticals and regenerative medicine, currently serving as Associate Director of Applications at Touchlight since April 2025, providing technical support for dbDNA applications in mRNA and viral vector clients. Previously, Peter held the role of Process Development Manager Upstream at Rentschler Biopharma SE, where responsibilities included managing the Upstream Process Development team and acting as Biosafety Officer. At GSK, Peter progressed through several roles, culminating as Scientific Leader in the Cell & Gene Therapy department, focusing on vector process development and regulatory submissions. Peter began an academic journey as a PhD researcher at Loughborough University, where a focus was placed on the growth of human stem cells and the development of automated processes for stem cell differentiation.
