Sean Lockwood has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Sean is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of TouchMath since March 2021. In this role, they lead a team dedicated to revolutionizing education through the power of technology.
Prior to TouchMath, Sean worked at Junior Library Guild from 2015 to 2021. Sean held various roles including General Manager, where they provided leadership during the COVID pandemic and optimized warehouse operations. As the SVP of Sales & Publisher Partnerships, they introduced a new digital literacy platform and increased annual subscribing customers by 25%. Sean also served as the Vice President of Sales, implementing sales strategies and fostering a customer-centric culture.
Before Junior Library Guild, Sean worked at World Book from 2012 to 2015. Sean first served as the Vice President of Global Sales, leading domestic and international sales teams. Sean then became the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, contributing to the overall growth of the company and establishing departmental goals.
From 2008 to 2012, Sean worked at QSP, a Time Inc. Company. Sean held the role of Director of New Business Development, creating marketing strategies for fundraising and educational materials. Sean also served as a Regional Sales Manager, leading a remote sales team and achieving revenue objectives in the K-12 marketplace.
Earlier in their career, Sean worked at Reader's Digest as the Regional Promotion Manager and Field Sales Manager. Sean created multimedia presentations and maintained long-term customer relationships in the K-12 education market.
Before that, Sean was an Independent Distributor for World's Finest Chocolate and an Account Manager at Barrington Corporation. Sean also served as a Coach for the Fargo South High School Soccer team.
