Allison Cook

Allison Cook has a diverse work experience in various roles. Allison is currently working as a Video Editor and Animator at Touchpoint Media, Inc. Allison started this position in June 2021.

Prior to that, Allison worked at Allison Rose Design, their own company, since January 2000. Allison served as a Video Editor, Animator, and Multimedia Artist, specializing in photography, digital design, and web development.

From May 2011 to August 2021, they worked as a Snorkel Master at Merlin Entertainments, specifically at Sea Life Minnesota. In addition to facilitating the snorkel program and ensuring visitor safety, they educated guests about marine life and conservation. Allison was also Scuba Certified since 2016.

Allison also gained experience as a Graphic Designer at Morrie's Auto Group from August 2020 to June 2021.

Prior to that, they worked at MSPC as an Associate Video Producer from June 2019 to August 2020. In this role, they collaborated with various teams and managed project timelines, vendor relations, and asset management.

From June 2013 to June 2019, Allison worked as a Graphic Designer at MSP Communications. Allison focused on print optimization and creative layout and design for advertisements in publications such as Mpls. St. Paul Magazine and Twin Cities Business.

Allison started their career as a WCCO Graphic Design Intern at WCCO | CBS Minnesota from August 2011 to December 2011.

Before entering the design field, Allison worked as a Behavioral Therapist at Partners in Excellence from May 2010 to September 2010. Allison provided ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, implementing individualized programs and activities for each patient.

Allison Cook earned their Bachelors of Art degree in Fine Art from California State University, Long Beach from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2003, they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Fine/Studio Arts, General from Orange Coast College. In addition to their formal education, Allison also holds certifications in SCUBA - Open Water from PADI, obtained in August 2016, and CPR & AED from the American Heart Association, obtained in July 2018.
