With a strong family history in long-term care, Stan Studer felt right at home following his father’s footsteps by founding Care Inn Properties, Inc., in 1991. This company’s first acquisition was the Brenham Rest Home in Brenham, Texas.
Under Stan’s leadership, the company–now known as Touchstone Communities–has grown to 16 communities, six Texas State Veterans Homes, and more than 2,500 team members. Stan achieved this by building a team of compassionate people who are dedicated to not only making a difference in the lives of the families we serve, but who are also dedicated to supporting each other. He continues to be the driving force in making Touchstone Communities a premier network of dynamic healthcare communities and services. Stan was named chairman of Touchstone Communities in 2017.
Stan has served as a member of the Texas Health Care Association and other legislative-related committees. He received a master’s degree in real estate and land economics and a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University.
