Kyriakos Malamas

Kyriakos Malamas has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. In 2013, they worked as a Junior .Net Developer at GLS Hellas, where they were responsible for designing and implementing WinForms applications using .Net Framework 3.

In 2017, Kyriakos started working at Volvo Technology AB, where they completed their Master's thesis on "Design Flaws as Security Threats." This thesis focused on the identification and mitigation of security threats in designed systems.

Since 2017, Kyriakos has been a part of Touchtech - For salespeople in fashion. Initially, they served as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for requirements elicitation, design, and implementation of backend services for a new product. Kyriakos also played a role in architectural changes to existing products.

Currently, Kyriakos holds the position of CTO for Backend and Cloud services at Touchtech - For salespeople in fashion, a role they started in March 2021. In this position, they are responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of the company's backend and cloud services.

Kyriakos Malamas earned a Master's Degree in Software Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics from the University of Macedonia in Greece, for the period from 2006 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Kyriakos Malamas also acquired a certification in Google Project Management through a Specialization program offered by Coursera, which they completed in June 2023.
