Tyson Brown is a highly experienced geologist with a robust background in oil and gas exploration and development. Currently serving as the Sr. Staff Geologist - Deep Basin at Tourmaline Oil Corp since March 2020, Tyson has previously held roles at Obsidian Energy Ltd. as a Geologist, Enerplus as a Staff Geologist, Fairborne Energy Ltd. as a Senior Geologist, Trilogy Energy Trust/Paramount Resources Ltd. as a Geologist, Blue Mountain Energy as a Geologist, and Corridor Resources Inc. as a Geologist. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Major BSc. in Earth Sciences with a minor in chemistry from Dalhousie University.
