Simone Semprini

Simone Semprini has a diverse work experience. Simone began their career in 2007 as a Waiter at Hotel Cavalcanti. In 2013, they worked as a Student Intern at the Center for Energy Research - University of California and as a Research Assistant at the Universidad de Sevilla. In 2014, they worked as a Work&Travel for Workaway. In 2015, they worked as a Process & Performance Engineer for Abengoa and as a Business Developer for Enerray S.p.A. In 2016, they worked as an R&D Engineer for Steinbeis Gmbh. In 2017, they worked as a Data Scientist for Helmholtz-Zentrum. Since 2018, they have been the CEO & Co-Founder of Tourscanner.

Simone Semprini began their educational journey in 2003, when they obtained their High School Diploma in Business and Accountancy from Business Technical Institute R. Valturio. From 2008 to 2011, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna. In 2012, they participated in an Erasmus Exchange Student program at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Simone then returned to Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna to complete their Master's degree in Enery and Nuclear engineering from 2011 to 2014. During this time, they also participated in a Master Thesis Abroad program at Universidad de Sevilla in 2013 and an Overseas Exchange Student program at UC San Diego in 2013.
