Tourwriter Appoints Pierre Malou and Glenn Campbell as Co-CEOs

Tourwriter, a New Zealand-based company that creates personalized itinerary software for small to medium travel businesses, has announced a new corporate structure with Pierre Malou and Glenn Campbell serving as co-CEOs. The two CEOs will be based out of Wellington and manage over 30 employees. Under the new structure, Malou will be in charge of the company’s growth and operational excellence while Campbell will lead product, R&D, and financial excellence. Campbell is a co-founder of Tourwriter and has been involved in the tourism industry for the last 20 years. During his career, he has grown and sold a successful NZ tour operator business and been involved in various SaaS companies. Glenn has a background in accounting and auditing. Over the past 20 years, Malou has been helped develop startups or profit centers within larger organizations. This experience has helped him build a strong background in sales, marketing, and business acceleration. Before moving to New Zealand, Pierre spent the majority of his working life in Australia, where he held high-level positions at multiple companies. In a press release, Malou said, "Our dual leadership structure will allow Tourwriter to be innovative and adaptive, we are changing with the times and readying ourselves for continued growth. We are excited to continue providing innovative and powerful software products that allow our customers to succeed in creating exceptional travel experiences” Campbell and Malou believe that while the coronavirus has caused significant disruptions in the tourism industry it has also created an opportunity to re-imagine the way that tour operators work. The company is working on a special project to capitalize on this opportunity and hopes to provide more details in the coming months.
