Sy Vo

Sy Vo has extensive experience in semiconductor engineering, currently serving as a Process Engineer at Jazz Semiconductor since March 2003. In this role, Sy Vo focuses on diffusion and SiGe epitaxial preclean processes, including sustaining operations, improving yields, and qualifying new tools and recipes. Responsibilities also include SiGe epitaxial film deposition, characterization, and yield enhancement, while supporting R&D and integration in SiGe base engineering projects. Prior to this position, Sy Vo worked as a Process Development Engineer at Conexant from June 2000 to March 2003, where key accomplishments included qualifying new SiGe epi deposition tools, co-developing base profiles for NPN devices, and enhancing throughput for SiGe deposition processes. Sy Vo holds a degree from the University of California, Berkeley, earned between 1997 and 2000.
