Avi Strum

Avi Strum is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Tower Semiconductor since December 2004, Avi has held various leadership roles, including Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Sensors Business Unit and Vice President & General Manager of the CMOS Image Sensors Business Unit. Prior to Tower Semiconductor, Avi co-founded TransChip, serving as President and COO, and held the position of Quality and Reliability Manager at Intel. Earlier in the career, Avi worked at SCD as an R&D Manager. Avi earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microelectronics and Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
