Brian D. Smith, PhD, MSPH, MSE, MBA, served as a civil servant in various roles with the United States Air Force from 2005 to 2007, including Joint Base San Antonio Encroachment Engineer and Chief of Environmental Compliance. They worked as an EHS Manager at Genzyme from 2007 to 2010 and now hold the position of EHS and Security Manager at Tower Semiconductor since 2014. In addition to their professional experience, Brian has been an adjunct instructor and lecturer from 1983 to 2012 and is currently pursuing several degrees, including an MBA in Data Analytics at the University of the Incarnate Word and an MSPH in Environmental Science at Tulane University.
