Kurt Moen has extensive work experience in the field of technology development and research. Kurt started their career at UC Berkeley as a Research Assistant from May 2005 to June 2006. Kurt then joined Georgia Institute of Technology as a Graduate Researcher in August 2006 and remained in that role until April 2012. During their time at Georgia Institute of Technology, they also had a graduate co-op position at Texas Instruments from May 2011 to August 2011. Kurt Moen then moved on to work at Tower Semiconductor, where they held multiple positions. Kurt started as an R&D Device Engineer in April 2012 and progressed to become a Group Leader for RF-SOI from June 2020 to December 2020. Kurt then took on the role of Senior Manager for RF-SOI Technology Development from December 2020 to April 2022. Currently, Kurt Moen holds the position of Director of Technology Development at Tower Semiconductor, starting in April 2022.
Kurt Moen earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same institution from 2006 to 2008. Kurt completed their undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, where they received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 2005.
