Richard Mitchell is currently an Engineering Manager at WTW, where they lead the development of the award-winning Igloo Cloud system and oversee the transition to SaaS services. Previously, Richard founded Cherry Safe Software, developing a SaaS tool for data backup in Azure and AWS, and held various roles at Redgate Software that combined project management and software development. Richard began their career as a Software Engineer at CeNeS Pharmaceuticals, contributing to drug testing systems, and further advanced their expertise at Virtual Business Network Ltd. They earned a Master’s degree in Computer Systems and Software Engineering from the University of York.
