Patrick Townsend

Patrick Townsend has over 40 years of experience in the technology industry. In 1980, they were a Partner at The Orion Group, a consulting services company specializing in the IBM Midrange market. Patrick provided project management services to Fortune 500 companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 1984, they founded Townsend Security to serve the security and data protection needs of private and public organizations. Townsend Security's solutions are in use by over 3,000 customers around the world. Patrick also served as a Senior Consultant, providing lead consulting services to Fortune 1000 companies for systems programming and application development services. In addition, they served as President of a consulting team that provided network and communications solutions for a multi-national semiconductor company. Patrick located the team in Germany and managed development projects with a multi-national group of professionals, living near Munich for two years.

Patrick Townsend attended the University of California, Riverside from 1968 to 1971, where they earned a BA in Sociology and Education.
