Tech Support – Townsquare Interactive

The Tech Support Opportunity:
As a crucial member of our Internal IT Team, your role is to collaborate with our HR/Recruiting department to fulfill all employee equipment requirements. Your responsibilities encompass setting up new accounts, conducting personalized equipment training sessions, handling equipment returns from terminated employees, and actively managing an IT ticketing system to address and resolve employee IT support requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HR/Recruiting Department and other member of the IT Team to fulfill software and equipment needs
  • Install, operate, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Setup, perform maintenance and updating on personal computers, servers, printers, and software
  • LAN systems installation and maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with all Company Engineering and Information Technology practices
  • After hours and weekend work (as needed) 

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (all versions)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to list up to 50 pounds, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Strong attention to detail needed to perform activities including: preparing and analyzing data; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines
  • BA/BS degree (Degree in Computer Scient or Information Technology is preferred)
