Taylor Smith

Taylor Smith is currently a Senior Managing Engineer at Toyota Connected North America. Taylor has experience in leading the development of on-device NLU, QA, and automation. Prior to this role, Taylor worked at State Farm as a Principal Data Scientist and Team Lead, specializing in recommender systems and cost-savings initiatives. Taylor also has experience at AT&T as a Senior Specialist Data Scientist, where they developed machine learning algorithms to predict mechanical failure in fleet vehicles. Taylor holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics from Texas McCombs School of Business, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a minor in Arabic from Texas A&M University.
