Sachin Samarakone

Sachin Samarakone has a diverse range of work experience starting from May 2016 to the present. Sachin began as an Engineering Intern at Blue Ocean Solar in May 2016, followed by a role as a Project Engineering Intern at Panasian Power PLC from May to August 2018. In September 2016, Sachin became the Director of Recruiting at Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity, a position they held until May 2019.

In September 2019, they joined Argex Titanium Inc. as a Junior Process Engineering Intern, a role which lasted until January 2020. From June 2020 to September 2022, Sachin worked at Impact Global Solutions as a Hydrometallurgist, where they oversaw projects like continuous ultrasonic metal leaching pilot project, nickel and cobalt separation, and designing and conducting experiments for various ores.

Since 2021, Sachin has been employed at Partners in Performance as a Content Manager. Sachin is currently working at tozero as a Hydrometallurgical Engineer from May 2023 onwards.

Currently, Sachin is furthering their education at Polytechnique Montréal. From 2021 to 2023, they are enrolled in a Master of Engineering (MEng) program with a specialization in Materials Engineering.
