Susan Maple

Susan Maple is the current Group Head of Human Resources at TP ICAP. Prior to this, they were the HR Head of Barclays Africa from March 2009 to November 2011, where they managed HR teams across 10 geographies and a retail and commercial banking group of c15,000 employees. From May 2000 to February 2009, Maple was a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch, where they held various roles including Head of HR for Institutional businesses (IB, Debt, Equity, Research) and European HR managers, EMEA from 2000-2005, Global Head of investment Banking New York from 2005-2007, and Head of HR for the Pacific Rim from 2007-2009. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Maple was the Director of Human Resources at Fidelity Investments from January 1995 to December 1998. In September 2014, Maple became the Head of Corporate and Investment Banking HR at VTB (Group level role) and held this position until June 2019. From December 2011 to August 2014, Maple was the Global head of HR at VTB Capital (division of CIB). Prior to VTB Capital, Maple was the HR director at Dresdner Kleinwort from March 1999 to April 2000. Finally, before Credit Lyonnias, Maple was the Deputy Manager of Personnel from January 1989-December 1995.
