Ivan Ramirez

Ivan Ramirez has extensive work experience in software development and technical support. Ivan started their career at Microsoft as a Technical Support Engineer from September 2011 to October 2013. Ivan then moved on to IBM, where they worked as a Technical Support Engineer for System X Servers in Latin America from September 2013 to February 2014. At Toshiba, Ivan served as a Technical Support Tier 2 Escalation Specialist from February 2014 to March 2015, where they handled difficult support cases and managed a team of around 20 people.

In 2015, Ivan joined 3dementes as an Ingeniero de software, where they maintained the simula.co project and worked on version 1 of the project. Later that year, they joined Axiacore as a Backend Developer, specializing in custom software development and maintenance. Ivan also worked on unit tests, mock, coverage, and updating libraries to ensure security updates. Ivan stayed at Axiacore until November 2018.

From December 2018 to January 2020, Ivan worked at Capek as a Back End Developer. Ivan'sresponsibilities included implementing web scraping, creating and maintaining Flask microservices, and integrating with the WhatsApp API. Ivan also focused on implementing unit tests and following best code practices.

In March 2020, Ivan joined LendingFront as a Software Developer, where they fixed security issues, integrated CI/CD with unit tests and migrations validation, and created and improved microservices. Ivan remained with LendingFront until January 2022.

In January 2022, Ivan started working at trii as a Software Developer. Here, they implemented and improved REST API endpoints, redesigned and created non-relational database connections for speed enhancements, and supervised web page development by Junior devs. Additionally, they defined and implemented a Referrals flow system. Ivan'stenure at trii lasted until November 2022.

Currently, Ivan is employed as a Software Developer Senior at tpaga, starting in April 2023.

Ivan Ramirez has a strong educational background in the field of information technology and computer systems. Ivan graduated from Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios with a degree in Systems Engineering. Additionally, they obtained a Technologist degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems from the same institution between 2010 and 2015. In 2019, Ivan enrolled in another program at Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios, pursuing a degree in Big Data and Business Analysis.
