Eric Barel

Eric Barel is currently serving as Gestionnaire de service IT at tpg transports publics genevois since September 2023. Prior to this role, Eric was employed at MSCI Inc. for nearly 25 years, holding various positions including Executive Director in IT Change Management and IT Risk Governance, where responsibilities included leading a global Change Management team and overseeing the IT Infrastructure change process. Eric also served as Data Centers & Platform Engineering Manager for Europe, managing the Geneva data center team and leading a group of engineers in hardware maintenance and virtualization. Earlier experience includes management roles at GO S.A., Norit S.A., Walter Rentsch Data SA, and Prime Computer. Eric holds a Certificat de formation générale in Management et technologies des systèmes d'information from the University of Geneva, a Diplôme de programmeur-analyste from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce, and a Maturité in Comptabilité et commerce / gestion from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce.
