Heather Preston

Heather Preston is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals sectors. Since January 2025, Heather has served as Chairperson at Harness Therapeutics and General Partner at Oxonian Ventures. Additionally, Heather has been a Senior Advisor at TPG since July 2018 and holds several non-executive director positions, including roles at Oxford Nanopore Technologies and Oxford Biomedica, where Heather chairs the Remuneration Committee. Previous board memberships include Azura Ophthalmics, Fusion Pharmaceuticals, and Avalyn Pharma, among others. Heather's academic credentials include an MD from the University of Oxford and a B.Sc. Hons in Biochemistry from St Bartholomews Hospital Medical School, University of London.
