Joann Harris

Joann Harris is a seasoned legal and compliance professional with extensive experience in the finance and securities sectors. Currently serving as a Firm Partner and Chief Compliance Officer at TPG since February 2015, Joann's previous roles include Senior Counsel and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer at TPG, as well as Assistant Regional Director of Enforcement and Enforcement Attorney at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from February 2003 to January 2015. Earlier in their career, Joann worked as an Attorney at Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, PC, and held auditing positions at KPMG US and Arthur Andersen & Co. Joann earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from SMU Dedman School of Law and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting from the University of Arkansas.
