John Schilling

John Schilling currently serves as Co-Managing Partner at TPG Capital, a position held since 2011. Prior to this role, John was Corporate Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Abbott Laboratories from 2008 to 2011, and before that, held the title of Principal at McKinsey & Company between 2001 and 2008. John Schilling holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Chicago, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Duke University. Additionally, John completed a Surgical Residency and post-doctoral fellowship in the General Surgery Residency Program at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
