Julia Maeda

Julia Maeda is a seasoned professional in finance and energy strategy, currently serving as Principal for Middle East Coverage at TPG since January 2022. Previously, Julia held the role of Co-Head of Institutional Coverage and Vice President of Senior Regional Investor Relations at Greenstone Equity Partners from June 2019 to January 2022, where the firm is noted as the largest fund placement entity in the GCC region. From July 2015 to April 2021, Julia worked as Director of Energy Strategy at SkyPower Global, focusing on utility-scale solar energy projects across various regions. Earlier in Julia's career, as Project Director at AFA Press from June 2012 to July 2015, responsibilities included assessing commercial opportunities in emerging markets. Julia holds an MBA from Bayes Business School and BA degrees in International Relations from both California State University, Long Beach and Waseda University.
