Michael Wang

Michael Wang currently serves as Deputy General Counsel at TPG, a position held since March 2019. Prior to this role, Michael was the Legal Director at Hony Capital from April 2014 to March 2019. Earlier experience includes working as an Associate at Sidley Austin LLP for a brief period in 2014, and as a Managing Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP from September 2011 to August 2013. Michael also has a background as an Associate at Global Law Office from January 2010 to August 2011 and at 普衡律师事务所 from October 2007 to December 2009. Educationally, Michael holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law (2006-2007) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Peking University (2002-2006).
