Ritu Kumar

Ritu Kumar currently serves as Managing Director at TPG, where responsibilities include overseeing Sustainability and ESG initiatives in Emerging Markets. Prior experience includes a directorial role at CDC Group plc, where Ritu was instrumental in developing sustainability strategies and leading the Environment and Social Responsibility team. Ritu also contributed as a member of the Technical Assistance Committee and Board for the Global Climate Partnership Fund and held a directorial position at Actis, where efforts focused on sustainability policies and ESG improvements. Earlier work includes consulting on climate change and sustainable programs at the Commonwealth Science Council, and managing technical assistance projects at UNIDO aimed at promoting ecologically sustainable industrial development. Ritu holds an MSc in International Economics from The London School of Economics and a Master’s degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics.
