Tom Verghese

Tom Verghese is a partner at TPG Rise and a leader on LeapFrog’s Global Health investment team, where they source and evaluate opportunities across Africa and Asia. Most recently, Tom co-led LeapFrog’s landmark healthcare investment into Goodlife Pharmacy in East Africa. Prior to their current role, Tom contributed to LeapFrog's Asia investment team and worked at CDC Group in London, analyzing direct investment opportunities across South Asia and Africa. Tom began their career at Banc of America Securities, focusing on IPOs and equity derivatives, and later provided advisory services to young women entrepreneurs in Ghana. They hold an MBA from Oxford’s Saïd Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Georgetown University.
