Edward Eng

Edward Eng has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Edward currently holds the position of Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics at TPI Composites, Inc., a role they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Manager of Data Warehouse at the same company from March 2021 to April 2023.

Before joining TPI Composites, Eng worked at Mechanics Bank from October 2014 to September 2020 as the VP and Director of Business Intelligence. During their tenure, they developed various data analytics, reporting, and dashboard solutions for executive management and investment partners. Edward also played a key role in the development and implementation of mobile banking and web payments products, as well as numerous BI and data technology projects across all business lines.

Eng also gained experience at Green Dot Corporation, where they worked as the Manager of Data Warehouse & Analytics from August 2013 to September 2014. Edward was responsible for designing customer segmentation models and building an enterprise data warehouse using Amazon Redshift. Prior to their role at Green Dot Corporation, Eng worked at Union Bank, where they held various positions from January 2006 to August 2013. As a Technology Program Manager and Lead Data Architect, they led the design and development of the bank's enterprise data warehouse and reporting capabilities. Edward was also involved in M&A loan data integration efforts. Earlier in their tenure at Union Bank, Eng served as a Senior Business Systems Analyst, contributing to the development of enterprise data warehousing and reporting capabilities using SAP Business Objects.

Eng has additional experience as an Information Technology Consultant, working for both himself and Nexgenix from 1998 to 2005. Their early career also includes roles at Lucent Technologies as a Systems Architect and Lead Programmer Analyst from March 2000 to May 2003. During this time, they led a development team in designing and building enterprise web application solutions.

Edward also holds certifications as a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) and a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance, with the certification years being 2023 and 2020 respectively.
