Marc Spector

Marc Spector has over 20 years of experience in finance and operations. Marc is currently the Finance Director, Financial Planning and Analysis at TPx Communications since 2017. In this role, they direct FP&A for the Operational side of the business, manages and reports on COGS and CAPEX budgets, and is responsible for outlooks and 5-year forecasts. Prior to this, Marc worked at TelePacific Communications (TPx Communications) from 2006 to 2017. Marc held roles such as Senior Manager of Finance and Strategic Relations and Sr. Finance Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for managing COGS and CAPEX budgets, reporting on actuals, generating outlooks, and building 5-year forecasts. From 2003 to 2006, Marc worked at Mpower Communications as a Manager, Operations Planning and Management. Marc built, managed, and reported on COGS and CAPEX budgets, and implemented measures that resulted in $6 million in savings. Earlier in their career, from 2000 to 2003, Marc served as the Special Programs Manager at Mpower Communications, where they managed operational aspects of an acquisition and negotiated a divestiture.

Marc Spector attended John Burroughs High School from 1980 to 1984. Marc then pursued their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History and Philosophy from Carleton College, which they completed from 1984 to 1988. Finally, Marc Spector attended the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, where they obtained their Doctor of Law (JD) degree from 1989 to 1992.
