Steven Sexton

Steven Sexton has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Steven most recently worked as a Senior Research Associate at Tr1X, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Research Associate at Fate Therapeutics Inc from August 2022 to January 2023, where they focused on CAR binder screening and synthetic biology construct testing for solid tumor therapies.

Before that, Steven worked at Artisan Biotechnologies from November 2021 to July 2022 as a Research Associate II/Senior Research Associate, where they developed and optimized cell and molecular based assays for characterizing engineered CAR T cells.

Steven also has experience at Editas Medicine, where they served as a Research Associate II from October 2020 to May 2021, a Research Associate I from May 2019 to October 2020, and as a Molecular and T Cell Biologist Intern from February 2018 to May 2019.

Additionally, Steven worked as an Admissions Ambassador at Emmanuel College from September 2016 to January 2019, where they trained incoming ambassadors and represented the college to prospective students.

Steven also has experience as a Marketing Intern at nrby from May 2017 to February 2018, and as a Maintenance Worker at Merrimack School District Department of Maintenance from June 2015 to June 2016.

Earlier in their career, Steven worked as a Delivery Driver at The Pizza Kitchen from November 2013 to June 2015.

Steven Sexton began their education at Emmanuel College (Boston) in 2015, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Biochemistry. Steven successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2019. Following this, in 2021, they joined the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Cancer Biology.
