Sofya Peschel

Sofya Peschel has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. In 2007, they were an intern translator for ZAO "SIBKABEL". From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a freelance translator for Contact Ltd. translation agency, Jardin Aux Lilas Translation Agency, and StartupStory.ru. In 2008, they were also a Japanese language instructor for beginners at the National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University and a Manager (Recruitment Projects and internationalization) at the Approved Learning Centre in Russia, Tomsk. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Ask.com as a Knowledge Engineer and a Localization/Language Specialist. Finally, from 2015 to 2016, they were a Search Data Engineer at IAC Applications and a Data Operations Specialist/Analyst at Traackr.

Sofya Peschel completed their Specialist degree with Honors in Linguistics and Translation from Tomsk Polytechnic University in 2008. In 2007, they participated in the Exchange Student Program at Università di Napoli L'Orientale, focusing on Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics. In 2014, they obtained a Certificate in Localization: Customizing Software for the World from the University of Washington. In 2015, they completed a 10-week part-time course in Front-end web development from Hackbright Academy, as well as a The Data Scientist’s Toolbox course from Coursera Verified Certificates.
