Mike Shebat

Mike Shebat is the current CEO and co-founder of Traba. Prior to Traba, Mike worked as a senior manager for global product at Uber. Mike was responsible for the development and launch of Uber Rewards, a loyalty program that gives riders rewards for using Uber. Prior to Uber, Mike worked as a general manager in McMaster-Carr's management rotation program. In this role, Mike was responsible for the performance and development of 36 FTE reports. Mike also led a strategic re-design of the shipping division, resulting in yearly savings of $450k. Prior to McMaster-Carr, Mike worked as a hedge fund analyst at The Blackstone Group. In this role, Mike developed business cases for seeding capital in >$100 million hedge funds and provided recommendations to C-level executives of a $306 million hedge fund on how to optimize its technology, data security, and disaster recovery platform specific to its needs. Prior to The Blackstone Group, Mike worked as an investment banking summer analyst at Goldman Sachs.

Mike Shebat attended the University of Virginia, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Mike also has a certification from Kauffman Fellows in Venture Deals from Summer 2020.
