Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Trabus Technologies since March 2019, specializing in building machine learning models for workforce staffing and on-time project completion predictions. Responsibilities include developing user-friendly dashboards using Django and JavaScript, as well as creating an Electron app to facilitate model access. Previously, as a Data Scientist, Andrew worked on geospatial data processing, machine learning model deployment, and web application development using AWS and various APIs. Earlier experience includes a role as a Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where performance verification procedures for submarine systems were created, and research assistant positions at the College of William & Mary and Columbia University, focused on programming and data analysis. Andrew holds a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from William & Mary.
