Jerod Gavel

Jerod Gavel has extensive experience in the field of network engineering and satellite communications. Jerod started their career as a SATCOM Systems Lead Technician at ITT Systems in 2002 and worked there until 2005. Jerod then joined JTSI, Inc. as a Technical Controller before returning to ITT Systems in 2005 as a SATCOM Shift Lead, where they supervised shift personnel responsible for maintaining 24/7 operations on the AN/GSC-39D STEP facility. From 2007 to 2013, they worked as a Field Service Engineer at Verizon FNS, installing, operating, and maintaining theater-wide strategic military SATCOM and TCF operations in several locations. Jerod joined ManTech in 2014, where they worked for over a year as a DISA SOUTHCOM Field Service Engineer. Since August 2015, they worked at SAIC as a Senior Network Engineer until December 2018, when they joined Trace Systems Inc. as a Senior Systems Engineer.

Jerod Gavel attended Smyrna High School in 1993-1994, but did not obtain a degree or field of study. In 2013, Jerod Gavel obtained an ITIL-F certification from EXIN.
