Seng Phomsakha

Senior Network Engineer at Trace Systems Inc.

Seng Phomsakha has a distinguished career as an IT professional and has worked for several prominent companies. Seng began as a senior network engineer at ProxyMed, Inc. in 2004, where they were responsible for 24/7 WAN connectivity between offices and partner connections, and maintained a partially mesh frame-relay network as the primary network and MPLS running BGP as a redundancy to all corporate offices. Seng also set up and configured F5 load balancers to distribute inbound traffic to server farms.

From 2005 to 2007, Seng Phomsakha worked as a senior security analyst at both Cybertrust and their own company, Seng Phomsakha, where they monitored customer networks against all network intrusions 24/7 and implemented customer change requests on routers, switches, and firewalls. Seng also troubleshooted networks and firewall-related issues, including Checkpoint, Pix, and Netscreen.

From 2007 to 2011, Seng Phomsakha was the network manager at Erdas Incorporated, where they were responsible for the day-to-day network operation. Seng also designed and set up a globally MPLS network with BGP routing protocol connecting offices in the US, Europe, Asia, India, and Australia.

Additionally, Seng Phomsakha worked as an adjunct instructor at Southern Polytechnic State University from 2001 to 2011. Seng also worked as a senior network engineer at McKesson from 2011 to 2012 and as a senior network engineer at Northern Technologies Group from 2012 to 2013.

Finally, from 2013 to 2016, Seng Phomsakha was a senior network design engineer at Convergent Solutions Inc. There, they coordinated network design activities with customers, evaluated current network topology, and prepared detailed network specifications, including diagrams, charts, equipment configurations, and recommended technologies. Seng also worked as a senior network engineer at Trace Systems from 2016 to present, where they designed and implemented secure network infrastructure for cloud service applications and configured Software Define Network (NSX) overlay networks.

Seng Phomsakha has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of South Florida.
