Brad MacPherson

Brad MacPherson has extensive experience in writing and content creation. Brad has served as the Editorial Director at Trace3 since April 2021, where they set the tone of written content, works with in-house participants and outside contractors, and ensures message effectiveness and brand consistency. Additionally, they collaborate with sales and technical teams to deliver high-quality sales proposals and technical deliverables.

Prior to their role at Trace3, Brad worked as a Senior Writer at Trace3 from August 2011 to April 2021. Brad was responsible for creating marketing and corporate messaging materials using various mediums and developing standardized templates for corporate documentation.

Before joining Trace3, Brad worked as a Writer/Producer at Lucky Eight Pictures since June 2004. Brad has experience in the film, television, and new media industries.

As an independent contractor from June 2006 to March 2012, Brad provided technical writing and researching services. Brad marketed and sold these services, created business proposals, and produced documentation on software, infrastructure, and case studies.

Brad has also worked as a Technical Writer at 2011 Insight Integrated Systems from March 2011 to August 2011. During this time, they produced documentation related to a Disaster Recovery Project for the NFL and developed standardized templates for document creation.

Earlier in their career, Brad worked at Mainland Information Systems as a Technical Writer/Unix Systems Administrator from February 2002 to May 2006. Brad administered UNIX environments and contributed to the support of large-scale Windows desktop environments. Brad also created technical documents, marketing materials, and designed proposals for new projects.

Before that, Brad served as a Unix Systems Administrator/Application Support Specialist at Numac Energy Inc from January 1997 to April 2001. Brad evaluated and supported various applications and administered UNIX and Windows environments. Brad also gained experience in project and team management.

Brad MacPherson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from St. Francis Xavier University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English also from St. Francis Xavier University.
