Mark Butler

Mark Butler is a CISO with over 24 years of experience leading enterprise security teams. Mark is currently the CISO at Trace3, and previously held this position at MegaplanIT, LLC from March 2018 to August 2020. Prior to that, they were the CISO at Qualys from April 2017 to March 2018.

Butler has also been involved with the Forbes Technology Council, and has delivered security consulting services and supported security products. Mark holds active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), PCI Internal Security Assessor (PCI-ISA) and Certified Information Privacy Professional/Information Technology (CIPP-IT) certifications.

Mark Butler has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Avila University, a field in Business Management. Mark also has a field in Business from Baylor University. Mark has completed their high school education from Center Senior High School.
