Luis Rivas

Luis Rivas has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. Luis began their career in 1994 in the US Army, where they served in various roles such as Senior Personnel Manager, Senior Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Program Manager, and Training Administrator. During their time in the army, they gained expertise in supervising, training, and evaluating personnel, managing budgets and funds, and overseeing maintenance plans for tactical vehicles and equipment.

In 2019, Luis joined Finish Line Towing, Inc. as a Heavy Duty Tow Truck Operator. Luis was responsible for operating tow trucks and assisting with the towing of heavy vehicles.

From 2021 to 2022, Luis worked as a Certified Remote sUAS Pilot, specializing in mapping, photogrammetry, and 3D mapping using drones. Luis also had experience in risk management and mission execution due to their 25 years of service in the US Army.

Most recently, in 2022, Luis joined TraceAir Technologies as a Field Operations Manager and UAS Operator. Their role involves overseeing field operations and operating unmanned aerial systems for various purposes.

Luis Rivas began their education in 1999 at Barstow Community College, where they pursued a field of study in Business Administration and Management. Luis completed their studies in 2001. In 2000, they also attended Santa Monica College to study Graphic Design.

In 2019, Luis enrolled at De Anza College to further their education in Business Administration and Management, although it is not specified when they completed their studies or if they obtained a degree.

In 2021, Luis attended Drone Aviate UAS Group, LLC, where they earned a Certification in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology. Additionally, they obtained multiple certifications from Drone Aviate UAS Group, LLC, including Advanced Pilot/Enterprise Certification, Mapping Pilot Certification, Agriculture Pilot Certification, Cinematography Pilot Certification, UAS Repair Technician Certification, Security Pilot Certification, Structure Asset Pilot Certification, and Remote Pilot Certification. Luis also acquired the FAA Remote Pilot Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Part 107 certification.

Luis holds other certifications as well, including the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and a Commercial Driver (Truck) Class A license from the California Department of Motor Vehicles, obtained in 2019.
