VP, Customer Success at TraceGains

Gary Walters is the current Vice President of Customer Success at TraceGains. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Customer Success Operations at NetApp from January 2014 to December 2016. In this role, they were responsible for leading the team that developed and managed the Customer Success portfolio, which included the Professional and Support Services roadmap and existing global P&L. Gary was also responsible for launching NetApp's evergreen system, performance guarantee, and price protection programs for Flash portfolio, which contributed to the 400% year-over-year product growth rate. In addition, Gary drove transformational initiatives that generated $24M in annual savings.

Before joining NetApp, Gary served as the Executive Director of Customer Success at Global Healthcare Exchange from January 2011 to December 2013. In this role, they were responsible for building a new function with accountability for improving customer experience, developing reference accounts, and generating sales opportunities for cloud-based healthcare supply chain automation software. Gary's team achieved renewal rates exceeding 99% and they implemented strategies that immediately improved customer satisfaction scores by 15%. Gary also developed over 40% of the company's reference accounts.

Prior to joining Global Healthcare Exchange, Gary served as the Sr. Director of Strategy at Oracle Corporation from January 2010 to December 2010.

Gary Walters graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Gary then went on to earn their MBA in General Management from San Jose State University.

A direct report to Gary Walters is and Jason Ulrich - Director, Customer Success. They work with David Scott - Director, Sales Operations, Amanda Torbett - Director, Sales. Their manager is Mike Hubbard, SVP, Revenue.
