Markus Nagel

Markus Nagel has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2004 when they worked as an Intern at the Finnish Forest Research Institute. In 2005, they became a Consultant for the Englaender Group. Markus then moved to Linnamägi Executive Search in 2008, where they worked as an Office Manager and Executive Researcher. From 2011 to 2012, they were an International Relations Coordinator for both the University of Tartu and the Viljandi Town Government. In 2015, they became an International Project Manager for Castorwood OÜ. In 2016, they worked as a Consultant for SLP Suomen Lämpöpuu Oy. In 2018, they were both a Head of International Sales for Moderan and a Consultant for the German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania (AHK). Currently, they are a Global Sales Manager for Tracegrow.

Markus Nagel began their educational journey in 2003 when they attended Fachhochschule Eberswalde, graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in International Forest Ecosystem Management. In 2006, they also attended the University of Tartu, completing a Master of Arts in Social Sciences in 2008. Additionally, they completed a study semester abroad at the Estonian University of Life Sciences in 2006, focusing on Estonian forest industry and wild berries in the Estonian food industry.

In 2005, they attended the Latvijas Universitate and the University of M\u00fcnster to study Latvian Language and Culture, and also attended the University of Eastern Finland to study Russian Forest Industry.

In 2016, they attended the Latvijas Lauksaimniecibas Universitate and the University of Helsinki to study Forest Management/Forest Resources Management and Forest Resources Production and Management, respectively. Markus also attended Saint Petersburg State Forest Technical Academy in 2005 to study Russian Language and Literature.

Finally, in 2015, they attended the Estonian University of Life Sciences, graduating in 2019 with a Master of Science in Forest Industry.
