Jon Tate

Jon Tate has extensive work experience in various director roles within the Tracerco group of companies, starting in 2017 as the Managing Director of Tracerco Ltd. Jon has been responsible for leading the global business, overseeing R&D, and providing innovative solutions to the Oil, Gas, and Refining industries. In 2018, Jon took on additional director roles within different Tracerco subsidiaries, including Tracerco Norge AS, Tracerco Asia Services Sdn. Bhd., Tracerco Radioactive Diagnostic Services Canada Inc, and Tracerco Europe BVBA. In 2020, they became a Director for Tracerco China Process Diagnostics & Instrumentation (Shanghai) Co Ltd and Johnson Matthey Tracerco Holdings Hong Kong Limited. In 2021, Jon also took on a pro bono Director role at the Pele Trust, where they support the governance and leadership of multiple schools within the trust. Prior to joining Tracerco, they served as the Strategic Planning Director at Johnson Matthey Oil & Gas from 2016 to 2017.

Jon Tate completed their education at Newcastle University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Naval Architecture from 1998 to 2001. Jon further pursued higher education at the same university, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Management from 2005 to 2007. In addition to their academic achievements, Jon obtained certifications such as CEng from RINA (Royal Institution of Naval Architects) in April 2013 and MRINA from the Royal Institute of Naval Architects in March 2013.
