Larry Silverman has a diverse and extensive work experience. Larry started their career as an Information Systems Manager at Carnegie Mellon University's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1991. After that, they became a Manager in the Technology Research and Development group at Accenture, where they worked on projects involving cutting-edge technologies across various industries. In 1999, Larry joined Rand McNally & Co. as the Director of Internet Operations, where they were responsible for building a team and developing the technology for a new spinoff business. In 2002, they co-founded TrackAbout, Inc. and served as the Chief Technology Officer. Larry played a crucial role in the growth of the company, overseeing all aspects of technology and software development, managing software development projects, and recruiting and retaining top talent. Larry also introduced agile and lean software development practices and implemented a disaster recovery solution. Finally, in 2019, TrackAbout, Inc. was acquired by Datacor, Inc. Overall, Larry has a strong background in technology development, project management, and team leadership.
