Mohd Afiq I. began their work experience in 2012 as a Reservoir Engineer at PETRONAS Unconventional Division. Mohd Afiq conducted technical reviews and made revisions to development plans, resulting in significant cost savings. Mohd Afiq then transitioned to the role of Operations Engineer at PETRONAS Peninsular Malaysia Asset, where they supervised daily operations and conducted field reviews to maximize production. In 2019, they became a Senior Petroleum Engineer, leading the implementation of Digital Oil Field solutions for optimizing asset performance in the Bokor Field.
