NPI Engineer at Trackonomy Systems

Gregory Liu has worked in the engineering and manufacturing industry for the past nine years. In 2012, they began their career as an Intern at Archers Systems USA, where they optimized solar panel manufacturing machines, planned and corrected wiring diagrams, and animated an example of the solar panel machine in Adobe Flash for company marketing presentations. In 2013, they became a Technical Marketing Intern at Agilent Technologies, where they wrote a Cookbook for the SystemVue software suite and created electronic direct mail for the Agilent EEsof University program. In 2016, they were a Manufacturing Engineer at BD, where they developed and refined the manufacturing and troubleshooting methods for the FACSymphony A5 cytometer and created Operational Method Sheets, field upgrade procedures, and Design History Files for the FACSymphony A5/LSRFortessa X-50. Gregory also provided field support for international and domestic customers for SORP cytometers and sorters. In 2017, they joined Pure Storage as an NPI Manufacturing Test Engineer, where they coded different automated system tests in Python, managed multiple engineering and manufacturing projects from prototype to general release, and integrated and qualified multiple HBA and PSUs into the test manufacturing process. Currently, they are an NPI Engineer at a Venture Backed Stealth Startup.

Gregory Liu received a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2014. Gregory then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same institution, graduating in 2015. Gregory is currently enrolled in San Jose State University, pursuing a Master of Arts - MA in Economics.
