Lei Tang

Lei Tang has been working in the field of battery engineering since 2006. Lei began their career as a Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Associate at Arizona State University. In 2009, they joined NantEnergy as a Senior Battery Scientist/Engineer. In 2020, they moved to a Venture Backed Stealth Startup as a Senior Battery Engineer.

Lei Tang earned their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University between 1995 and 1999. Lei then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Science and Engineering of Materials at Arizona State University from 1999 to 2005. Additionally, they have obtained three certifications from SAS and MathWorks in 2015: JMP Software: A Case Study Approach to Data Exploration, JMP Software: ANOVA and Regression, and Statistical Methods in MATLAB.
