Peter Chase

Peter Chase has been working in the accounting and finance field since 2004. Peter began their career at Deloitte & Touche as an Audit Senior, where they were responsible for performing assurance services for public and private clients, as well as co-facilitating technology training for auditors. In 2008, they moved to Barracuda Networks as a Corporate Accounting Manager/Senior Accounting Manager, where they managed the accounting close, reviewed monthly consolidations of 6 foreign subsidiaries, and managed AP processes. Peter then moved to Anki, Inc. in 2014 as a Senior Accounting Manager, where they transitioned the accounting function from an external provider to internal resources, took over management and oversight of the close period, and implemented Netsuite. In 2017, they moved to Jumpstart Automotive Media as an Assistant Controller, and in 2018, they joined KeepTruckin as a Controller, Assistant Controller, and Senior Manager of Accounting. Most recently, they began working at a Venture Backed Stealth Startup in 2021 as a Controller.

Peter Chase obtained a BBA in Accounting from The University of Georgia between 2000 and 2002. Peter then attended Athens Technical College between 1998 and 2000, studying Accounting. Afterwards, they went on to pursue a Masters in Accountancy from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business, which they completed in 2004. Prior to that, they studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania between 1995 and 1997. Additionally, they have obtained a CPA certification from the California Board of Accountancy.
