New Product Introduction Engineer at Trackonomy Systems

Xi Chen has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. In 2021, they began working as a New Product Introduction Engineer at a Venture Backed Stealth Startup. In 2020, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Johns Hopkins University, where they performed research regarding designing and optimizing non-contact perfusion detection devices in ischemic patients. Xi also developed software to detect the presence and absence of heart rate in perfused and ischemic patients. In 2021, they began working as an Information Security Engineer at TIBCO, where they used SonarQube, WhiteSource, DefectDojo, and BurpSuite to perform full procedures on manage vulnerability issues with security architects. Xi also participated in the software release cycle, troubleshot open issues, and added new features to existing API. In 2018, they worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Purdue University, where they functioned as a peer teacher for an Introduction to the Digital System Design Lab session and for the Electrical Engineering Fundamentals Lab. Xi also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, where they implemented a CNN algorithm in Python with Tensorflow, Pytorch, Keras for image classification. Xi also managed a product ideation, research, planning, budgeting, and prototyping project. Finally, in 2016, they worked as an Information Technology Specialist at INNOSILICON, where they configured, setup, and installed the Asterisk Jira & Confluence systems and performed a presentation to train over 20 managers.

Xi Chen completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Purdue University between 2015 and 2020. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
