Apparel Designer at Tracksmith

Ned Christensen has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. In 2022, they began working as an Apparel Designer for Tracksmith. Prior to this, they worked at Lands' End from 2016 to 2021, where they held a variety of roles, including Outerwear Designer: Men's + Women's, Associate Women's Outerwear Designer, and Assistant Women's Designer. From 2015-2016, they were a Design Intern at Proenza Schouler, working in the Atelier on Resort 2016 RTW Collection, Spring 2016 RTW Collection and Fall 2016 RTW Collection. Ned also assisted with pattern making, sample making, pattern digitizing, and sourcing trims and fittings. In 2014, they were a Design Intern at Cole Haan, working with the Men's and Women's Outerwear Design Teams, participating in fittings, and helping to complete tech packs and digital illustrations. In the same year, they were a Public Relations Intern at Ralph Lauren, where they worked on all mens brands, coordinated send outs and returns for photoshoots, and worked on press days for all Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 menswear presentations. In 2012, they were a Stylist Intern at Elizabeth Sulcer Studios, and a Rugby Concept Design Intern at Ralph Lauren, helping with the launch and design of the Summer 2012 Jewelry Collection and assisting the Conceptual Team with rigs, pulls and tears.

Ned Christensen attended The Pingry School from 2008 to 2012, where they earned their High School Diploma. From 2010 to 2011, they attended the Rhode Island School of Design's Precollege Program, where they studied Fashion/Apparel Design. Ned then attended Parsons School of Design - The New School from 2012 to 2016, where they earned their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fashion Design.
